When updating the cocktail cherry we looked to our Kentucky roots for inspiration, combining Bourbon from our home state with Oregon cherries. The result is the ideal companion to any number of drinks, most notably those made with whiskey. You might find them good enough to eat straight from the jar.

These are really the best cocktail cherries

I love these cherries so much. They have a great depth of flavor and aren’t as sticky sweet as some cocktail cherries can be. They are required ingredient for my Manhattans . And a splash of the juice from the jar makes a really nice alternative/addition to simple syrup in a bourbon Old Fashioned.

I had originally stumbled upon them in a little gift shop in Provincetown and decided to try them as an alternative to the usual Luxardo cherries. When I couldn’t get back there after running out, I tried going back to Luxardo cherries since they are easier to find but I realized I really didn’t like them as much.

So I googled around and ended up ordering Jack Rudy’s straight from the source! The customer service has been excellent. Highly recommend everything about them!

I have tried multiple cherries over the years. Luxardo have become my go to to but the Jack Rudy Bourbon Cocktail Cherries are wonderful! Luxardo cherries are sweet and syrupy. Jack Rudy are just perfect to finish off my cocktail!
